Public Education & Advocacy

IISS -

Public Education & Advocacy

The Institute organizes seminars, workshops and lectures facilitated by local and international experts, which are designed to advance society’s understanding of the nature of intelligence and the changing security landscape in the 21st century

IISS continues to pursue a non-partisan, independent and people-centered public advocacy, and education of the masses on pertinent issues that bother on the safety and security of the public, and to deepen the public’s understanding about role and value of intelligence in safeguarding national security. The hallmark of IISS’s public advocacy policy is objectivity, fairness, and non-politicization.

IISS also plays a leading role in professionalizing security analysis and public advocacy by building and enhancing the capacity of sector practitioners in offering the public well-informed expert analysis on critical national security issues.
